SUBMIT YOUR DOWNTOWN IMAGES

One of the sections of this website is the Historical section, which displays images of years past of downtown Athens Alabama. If you have any images of the square in downtown Athens, we would love to show them on this website. For example, an image that was taken of one of the stores from back in the 1960’s or images from the Christmas parade as it went through the downtown square. For us to accept the image, make sure the below statements are true about your image.

1. The image is at least from the year 1995 or earlier.
2. The image is taken from the Athens downtown square area. This could either be out side or in side of a business.
3. The picture was taken by you or someone you know that has given you permission to send us the image to display on our website.
4. You give us permission to display the image on the downtownathensalabama.com website.

If all of the above statements or true, then please send us your image or images. Please attach the image or images to an e-mail and send it to downtownathensalabama@yahoo.com. Please include as much as possible of the below information with the e-mail.

1. What year the image was taken or your best knowledge of when it was taken.
2. Describe the image. Tell what the image is showing and if there are any people in the image; if able please list their names.
3. The person’s name who took the image.
4. Please include your name.
